Vivo V7 launched in India: Price, specifications and features

Selfie Smartphone giant Vivo on Monday officially launched its latest Vivo V7 in India at a price tag of Rs 18,990. The phone was previously launched in Indonesia last week. V7 is the smaller version of the Vivo V7+ with just a bigger battery and a full-screen (minimal bezel) display. It is as of now available for pre-booking on Flipkart; the first sale will be held on November 24. The device will be available in two color variants – Matte Black and Champagne Gold.

As for the specifications, It sports a 5.7-inch FullView display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels having an aspect ratio of 18:9 with 2.5D curved glass. Vivo V7 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM which can be expanded up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card. The phone is packed up with 3,000mAh non-removable battery and run Google’s Android 7.1 Nougat operating system with its own Funtouch OS 3.2 UI layer on top.

In terms of Camera, the Vivo V7 comes with a 16MP f/2.0 rear camera with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF) with an LED flash. It also supports Portrait Mode and Live Photo capture and the ability to shoot 64MP Ultra HD photos by stitching multiple images. The front camera comes with a 24MP sensor which comes with Smart Beauty 7.0 and also supports VivoFace Access, their in-house face detection technology.

The Vivo V7 is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope.

If a user books the phone now, he/she will be offered a no-cost EMIs, exchange offers on the old phone,  one-time free screen replacement,  cashback on HDFC credit and debit card, and some other freebies like movie vouchers from BookMyShow, a Times Now report said. Also, these buyers will be given priority while shipping.
