If you live in Delhi/NCR, then you must always be thinking of the places where you can go on birthdays or some other celebrations with your friends, cousins. In this post, I am writing a full review of Smaaash Cyberhub, Gurgaon/Gurugram which is one of the famous places in Delhi NCR.
Before visiting Smaaash, the only reason why it brought a smile on to my face was that it is co-owned by none other than the Master Blaster, Sachin Tendulkar. Smaaash is located at four locations in Delhi and NCR region. Which are:
- Smaaash Gurgaon– Dlf Cyber Hub, Cyber City, Phase 2, Sector 24, Gurugram
- Smaaash Sky Karting & Pitstop Brewpub– Sector 29, Gurugram, Haryana
- Smaaash Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj- Nelson Mandela Marg, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi
Smaaash Noida- Mall Of India, Sector 18, Noida, Uttar Pradesh
We visited the one in DLF Cyber Hub. It is located on the ground floor near Social, Cyber hub Cafe. Here you can experience Virtual Reality games as well as Simulation Games. It is suitable for both kids as well as adults. I suggest you go on weekdays if you don’t want any crowd and even the prices of games are also less on weekdays.
Smaaash offers so many types of entertainment options that no one from the family can get bored. The kids can have a lot of fun at the Arcade Zone with so much to choose from the available games at Smaaash. The youngsters can enjoy the bowling, the pool table, the cricket nets and gulp down a few beers along with the oldies of the family.
There are lots of the virtual reality games in Smaaash which eventually turned out to be my favourite. We started with the Walk the Plank- Vertigo. What fun it was and yes for the first few seconds, I wished if someone could press the stop button. Guess what; this was one experience which we came back to at the end after trying many other games. I would say, this can be the best VR games present over there. In this, you will be given a VR set, and they will make you stand on the top of a building, and you have to cross the building by walking a plank.
In real life, you will be walking over a plank size mat and room is dark in real to avoid any distraction. You have to walk from one building to another building along with saving a cat sitting on a plank. But what I observed is there is a catch in this game that after completing 80% of your task, You will fall. We were four friends, we all fell at the same place. Share your experience in the comment section if you have crossed the plank successfully.
Among other virtual reality options, I would recommend the Jurassic Escape and Roller Coaster ride.
Done with the virtual reality, we headed for a game of bowling at Smaaash, I enjoyed bowling a lot, but I always felt that it ends too soon. Especially for someone like me who hardly gets a strike and gets no extra chances at the end. Nonetheless a great experience. We Loved the atmosphere at the bowling alleys with those radiating carpets and neon-lit alleys.
Then We went for the dancing game in which you have to copy the dance steps which were being displayed on the computer screen, and it was hilarious. We enjoyed that game and played it thrice. It was hilarious to copy those dance steps and compete with your friend.
One of the most popular experiences at Smaaash is the cricket. You can experience a delightful cricket net session with different bowlers from around the world. Believe you me; it will not be as easy as you think. In this a bowler from large TV screen bowls, the ball is shot by a machine, and you are the batsman. Nothing was for the bowlers though.
Smaaash also has many other games such as the very popular Air Hockey, basketball, crashing cars, car and bike racing and much much more. We tried many more, and I do recommend this place to you for an excellent family day out.
With fun arcade for kids and the laidback gamer, Smaaash has a separate restaurant which serves average food with average price. We had Cheesy Garlic Bread, Tangra Chilli Paneer, The Smaaash lovers Pizza, Penne White Sauce Pasta and At the end, We ordered Cafe Frappe, Chocolaty Blend & Maple Walnut Blend Milk Shake. Everything was so Yummy. The overall ambience of the place was beautiful. Service is excellent and fast as well. Staff is very humble too.
Now that clearly explains the excellent time we had at Smaaash. I think going forward I might jump out of the seat if someone offers me a visit to Smaaash. If you cover all main games, it will cost you around 800-1000 Rs. Per person. There are some packages available on their website which keeps on changing time to time. If you are planning to go to this place or if you have already gone to this place, please share your reviews/questions in the comment section.
The excitement will be higher when I visit the newly made Smaaash Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj. Comment if you want us to review Smaaash Ambience Mall Vasant Kunj or any other.
