Oppo F5 to launch in India on November 2: Specs, features and more

Chinese manufacturer Oppo has started sending out invites for a press event on November 2, where it is expected to launch the smartphone. The company has been prodding their upcoming Oppo F5 on their Twitter handle. Its main highlights are bezel-less display, facial recognition, and AI Beauty Recognition technology.

Recently, Oppo had confirmed that the selfie-centric Oppo F5 would be launched in India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam. Apart from this information, the company had also revealed some specifications and features of the device along with some images.

This will be the first time when Oppo will be incorporating Artificial intelligent technology integrated into the front selfie camera. This tech uses massive global photo database to make the subject face even more beautiful.

Another unique thing about the Oppo F5 will be the widescreen or Full-Screen display. Many smartphones today are now launching with full screen and with 18:9 aspect ratio. This one too will come with a full screen using FHD+ i.e. 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, a 6-inch screen probably. It will run Android Nougat and will be packed with minimum 4GB RAM that has become a standard. We can expect a dual camera on the front for perfect selfie shot

We won’t have to wait until November for more details, as the Oppo F5 will make its debut in the Philippines on October 26, when the company will reveal everything about the phone. The Indian launch is mostly going to be a repeat of the same information with added details about the local pricing and availability.
