The Asus ZenPower Bank is among the long list of extra-large portable power sources that are now available in India. Price starting at Rs 1,675 this one packs a 10,050 mAh lithium-ion battery and will remind you a lot of the Mi Power Bank. ASUS ZenPower is available in Black, Silver, Pink, Blue and Gold.
Build & Design
|Couple mm Longer then Ceedit Card|
It weighs 215g and is 22mm thick, which according to Asus is the size of a credit card but It is Couple mm Longer.
It has a 5.1 volt and 2.4 ampere (5.1V/2.4A) output rating and has one USB 2.0 charging port. The micro USB port is used for charging the bank.
Talking about the build quality, ZenPower features a solid body. With the colorful exterior. The aluminium casing looks and feels really good. It will resist scratches if you put it in your bag with all other gadgets and keys. On the side where the On/Off button is, Asus has added four blinking lights to let you know where the battery level stands.
Even with only one battery light blinking, the power bank managed to charge an iPhone 5s from 60 % to 80 % in less than 20 minutes without dying. The 10,050 mAh battery life meant charging two-three phones is easily possible one after the other on this PowerBank.
In my case, it took well over six hours to get the full battery capacity up and running. Another noticeable thing about ZenPower is that it never heats up.
If you are constantly travelling and are one of those users who do not wish to worry about battery life, the ZenPower can be a solid companion, provided you remember to charge it.
At Rs 1,675, this is a pretty good deal to keep your smartphone going, especially when you need it the most.
